College Coffee Hours

 The Guidance Department will be hosting three sessions of “College Coffee Hour” for parents this fall. Each session will take place in the High School Library from 7:30-8:15 AM. These sessions are intended to give parents going through the college search process an opportunity to meet with school counselors and ask questions. We also welcome parents who have been through the process before to come and share their experiences with parents who have not been through the process.  Please bring a laptop or tablet to make the experiences more inter-active.  Topics will be discussed at each session and afterwards, there will be time for questions. PSAT Registration

The PSAT’s will be given on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at NSHS at 7:30 A.M. You may register online for the PSAT's here.  Registration will not be complete until payment is made in the Guidance office no later than Friday, October 3, 2014. The cost is $25 and can be paid by cash or check.  Checks should be made payable to North Smithfield High School. On the day of the test, students should bring a pen, two #2  pencils, and a calculator.  Please see the PSAT booklet or Website for a list of  approved calculators.

Summer College Fair at Brown University


The 23rd Annual Summer@Brown College Fair

The annual Summer@Brown College Fair is free and open to the public - students and parents from the surrounding area are invited to attend. The Fair offers students an opportunity to meet with representatives from more than 100 colleges, universities and conservatories.
